CMPDI Partners with MCL for Renewable Energy Project Consultancy

Central Mine Planning & Design Institute (CMPDI) has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) to provide Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services for upcoming solar and wind energy projects. The agreement was finalized, and marks a key step in advancing renewable infrastructure in Coal India subsidiaries.
Under the MoA, CMPDI will serve as the project management consultant, offering end-to-end support. This includes conducting feasibility studies, preparing bid documents, assisting with e-bidding, performing technical evaluations, reviewing designs, supervising execution, and monitoring performance throughout the project lifecycle.
Shri Sanjib Agrawal, GM/HoD (Solar & Renewable Energy), MCL, and Shri Sudarshan Prasad, GM (E&M), CMPDI (HQ), formally signed the agreement. The signing ceremony was attended by senior officials, including Shri G. Srinivas, RD (In-charge), RI-VII, CMPDI, and Shri L. L. Reddy, HoD (E&M), RI-VII, along with other representatives from both organizations.
