Having lived in Oman for decades, Founder and Managing Director of Surpassing Standards International(SSI), Surinaa Triveen has gained an in-depth knowledge of the people and the culture. The reason SSI has seen so much success is that the team is invested in carrying the vision forward.Where most firms stop at designing, SSI offers lighting design, acoustic consulting, landscape design concept, branding, signage, mechanical, electrical and plumbing(MEP), consulting, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HV AC) consulting, and everything clients could possibly need from start to finish for a

building's interior. "We also provide a precise estimation of the project cost to clients, which allows them to arrange for the required funds in advance", explains Surinaa.

Taking pride in its one-stop solution model, SSI's team consists not just of designers and architects but also an MEP engineer, civil engineer, visualizer, operations manager, and finance manager, all to ensure clients are well taken care of throughout the project. "I believe along with our past performance and budget-friendliness, the key driving factor for SSI's business is the all-encompassing nature of our team not many companies have all disciplines available under one roof", points Surinaa. The SSI team also offers inhouse visualizations, 3D views, and video walk throughs, giving clients all the necessary information before moving to the next stage.

Dedication to the Craft
Since its inception 11 years ago, SSI has completed over 70 projects, including shopping malls, government offices, banks, residential properties, and hotels. The team delivers not just form but also function while adhering strictly to the client's budget. For instance, while working on a 7000 m2 petroleum project, the SSI team completed the design, tendering, and building processes within five months.

In the meantime, it is working on projects close to home, with the American British Academy(ABA) taking up most of their time.

While continuing to delight clients across industries, SSI now aims to be recognized as one of the best designers in the hospitality sector and, eventually, expand into numerous other design disciplines.
