The goal of every hiring process is to hire the best talent for the job. But the problem arises when the best people aren’t hired in the first place. Whether it’s booming economy or during a slowdown, there is a perennial dearth of quality talent. Many businesses struggle to attract top-tier talent for a variety of reasons. With the race for good talent getting more competitive, companies need to showcase their value constantly, keep prospective candidates aware of themselves at all times, and sell them their opportunities and benefits. They need to develop a more transparent and engaging model to explore the disruptive market opportunity in the recruitment space. Catering to such requirements of businesses is Pune-based Peoplefy, an HR solutions firm providing Recruitment, Training and Recruitment Process Outsourcing services to IT, Engineering, KPO & Shared Services companies across India. “We have witnessed tremendous growth in terms of demand for talent in digital and analytics space. Chasing the Vision
Peoplefy was founded in 2006 by a team of IIT engineers with cumulative experience of more than 30 years in the areas of information technology and human resource management. Prior to establishing Peoplefy, Rajesh worked with global IT firms developing software solutions for various industry needs. He also has exposure working in the United States for developing software for Human Resource domain. Gradually, he became fascinated by the appeal and immense possibilities in talent space – acquiring talent, transforming talent and engaging talent. “I wanted to do something different in this space meticulously using my technology background. Moreover, there was an inner calling to be back in India and contribute to India’s development. There was an opportunity to help shape the careers of thousands of individuals. I decided to quit my corporate job in the USA and took the plunge to start Peoplefy in India,” he narrates.
Initially, the team witnessed tremendous challenges due to turmoil in the global economy and the subsequent recession of the last decade. Many of their newly developed customers had put their mandates on hold. “We had to go back to the drawing board, re-packaged our offerings and started to serve a broader audience. Most importantly, during those difficult times, we stuck together and continued to retain our core team,” he mentions.
Over the years, Peoplefy has carved a niche for itself in the industry and has become a force to reckon with in the recruitment space. It started its operations in and later expanded its operations to PAN India. Now, apart from Pune, it has offices in Bangalore, Hyderabad and Mumbai. “We have plans to double our operations in the next two years. We are in the process of expanding to the Middle East and South-East Asia. We are using latest technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Machine Learning (ML) to bring a highly satisfying experience to our valuable customers and candidates,” he concludes.
