The company has carved its niche in the spice processing market. It narrowed down the focus to the specific spices segment that was nascent and demanded reliable services. "We would not call ourselves as a generic food processing consultants but a specialist spice processing consultants," remarks Satish Kumar, MD.
VSR Enpro, unlike others, is an end-to-end Spice Processing Consultancy of spices on supply chain management, procurement, EPCM, geographical availability, knowledge about natural properties, product development, process re-engineering, quality and food safety management systems,
international standard support and expectations. He mentions, "The company starts right from ideation and ends with commissioning of the system with end-product - concept of commissioning."
He adds, "Service providers are in abundance but this will make the clients run to different service providers for each need. But we offer everything under one roof and value the time of clients. To avoid them running around different people, we give them a complete experience to add value to their business."
The Story of a Leader
Ever since a young boy, nothing came easy for little Satish. Born in a poor family, poverty hindered day-to-day living. Satish, rolled up his sleeves when he was in school, whereby he cleaned cars and worked with parents just to earn 50.Rs a month. He also walked to college for saving bus fare of 2/-. With all difficulties, parent's hard work and determination of giving best education to him, he pursued Diploma and Engineering at JNTU-Hyderabad in an evening college while working at Eveready Batteries in the day time.
Headquartered in Mumbai and Hyderabad, the boy, who dreamt of flying at least once in a plane in his lifetime, is now Asia's most preferred Spice Consultant, operating projects in the region and successfully executing those.
What Lies Ahead
Since the inception, VSR Enpro has completed over 60 Integrated Spice processing facilities in-line with global Standards. It supports projects of varying sizes and several sectors such as the Spice industry, and other Agro commodities processing. Now, the company is on the verge of setting one of the biggest spice processing plant of 250mt per day capacity in Northern part of India. It plans to help MSMEs with a cutting-edge invention called "VSR Blackbox" for Recipe Control and Automatic formulations in Spice Industry. Ensuring high-standard raw materials reach to the clients, Deccan Agri pure India LLP is incorporated to support their clients for right raw material at right time.
With plans of Agro CoolKart addition, amidst positive difference creation, a socially impactful DPIIT recognized startup, patented for concept dealings of post-harvest loss reduction, helping street fruit vendors' products from micro-contamination and direct sunlight, he concluded with the powerful words of `Employment, Empowerment, Hygiene, Food-waste reduction as prime focus of Agro CoolKart India.
