Walking Hand-In-Hand For A Stronger Ecosystem

Anamika Sahu, Managing EditorThe sustainability of startups was always questioned looking at the statistics of 90 percent of startups failing within just five years of their inception. But with the pandemic creating a havoc not just among the startups but the entire ecosystem, their future looks bleak. With funds dried up, reduced employee strength and heavy operations cost, startups have to deal with more hurdles. However, the last few months when the world needed innovative solutions to deal with the pandemic,
it were the startups who brought in new ideas and turned them into reality within the shortest time possible. They not just saved humanity, they saved the world.

But as the world is moving out of the lockdown and is learning to leave with the pandemic, which has become a new normal, the fund inflows from VCs have opened up, the market is welcoming and the customers are out there shopping (B2B & B2C). So now it is time they gear up, roll their sleeves and pump up their muscles to grab the opportunities whilst dealing with the new normal. There is too much to balance and too little time to fix them all. Hence the need for consultants for startups will grow profoundly. Needless to say, the consultants' expertise and the new ways of doing business will only open up new possibilities for the startups. They only need those guiding hands that can take them to zenith.

In our current edition of siliconindia Consultants Magazine, we bring to you the story of few such consultants in our edition titled `10 Most Promising Consultants for Startups 2020'. Their expertise and the various initiatives by the government together will infuse new life into the ecosystem and I can bet that innovation will see new heights each day.
