Amicus received its broking license from the Insurance and Regulatory Development Authority(IRDA)in 2008 and has steadily grown since then. Nayer says, “Our strength so far has remained in the B2B space and we are known for our technical competence in the industry. Our focus is to understand our client’s business and the risks attendant to their business. We strive to ensure that insurance covers that we structure will respond most effectively in the event of an unfortunate event causing a loss to our client.”

The portal is being built on state of the art technologies and security features. “Our retail portal will offer our customers online comparison of Health and motor covers and they can have the policy generated as soon as they make premium payment online. We are also looking at similar technology upgrades in managing the portfolio of our corporate clients,” he informs.

The Journey
Since their inception in 20019, AMICUS has maintained a consistent growth. Throwing light on this, Nayer states, “While we will consolidate our position in the B2B space, we believe health insurance is going to see phenomenal growth in the coming decade and hence we are now also strengthening our retail business.We believe there are many individual customerswho needs help in claims.
