As time passed by, this legion of one was joined by many HR professionals who are highly talented and passionate about the vision of Marching Sheep. They leverage their combined strengths to evaluate the needs of the clients, curate best fit-ting solutions and accordingly equip them with
relevant and customised solutions. "I have been serving the industry as an HR professional for nearly two decades now. And during the tenure, I have worked with some of the leading organisations in the ecosystem including Pepsico, Vodafone, Phillips and others. I realised that HR interventions conducted across the employee life cycle very often did not work in sync with business strategy. It appeared that there was minimal tangible movement in response to the intervention, despite the capital and efforts invested. Reckoning which I came up with the idea of equipping organizations with tangible business value through well evaluated HR and people management strategies and interventions," narrates Sonica Aron, Founder & Managing Partner, Marching Sheep.

The Rising:
The company began humbly with one client, and over a of time slowly yet surely escalated in terms of business, clients and geographical presence. Instituted by a single person, the company's workforce strength counts up to seven today and serves about 25 to 30 clients, delivering projects and assignments Pan India. It has observed nearly 100 per cent customer retention. It's flagship pro-gram in diversity space-Women at Work has received great admiration from the audience and is well received across the industry. The company is amongst the first one to address unconscious bias through the program Unleash. Recently, Marching Sheep has launched a five stage consulting package to address the needs of SMEs and MSMEs in these turbulent times.

"Setting up an organization and creating an impression in the industry does not come easy. Being the founder did call for a lot of responsibilities and a horde of impediments to contend with. But I did not lose my faith and belief in myself and my goals. Initially, I single-handedly took care of everything-, getting clients, apprising people about the project, delivering solutions, managing administrative tasks like invoicing and paying taxes. I learnt the ropes of running a business and slowly built the team. Today, my team marches with me every step of the way. It has been memorable journey in which I and the company have evolved significantly. We are the preferred, trusted and diverse advisory firm in the market and have designed unique programs that address various social and industrial challenges," she adds.

Sonica is optimistic about the future of her firm. The team has evolved rapidly to curate and deliver interventions that are need of the hour for small and large clients. After Mumbai and New Delhi, it is all set to establish its presence in Bengaluru. At present, it is paying particular attention to the concept of remote working, challenges associated with it and business recovery consultation to clients, and which has become a crying need during Covid-19 impact.
